I'm having trouble getting images down to the right size so I can use it as my avatar. Is the only way to do this by cutting it down? Is there any way to shrink the image to fit? I've got Picasa 3, and paint, but I can't figure out how.

None.

Post your avatar and how small you need it, and I'll work with it in Photoshop to get it there, you may need to make it a GIF, and photoshop allows compressing GIFs by removing unnecessary colors.

This is one that I'm trying to get down to both 125x125 and 50x50

O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- below the minimap should be a thing that says "Overlay Settings" with a little + button in the corner, press the + to expand it, uncheck Use Defaults, then change "Tile Overlay" to "Height"

Sylph-Of-Space -- It would be so so so nice if SCMDraft had some kind of dedicated "walkability" view for the tilesets.
