Sweet. Looking forward to a non buggy version considering I was interested in this map when it was announced. Interesting that cigarettes heal, btw. :lol:

Ok guys, here is the non bugged, glitch free version. There might be a bug you MIGHT discover but I doubt it. If you do find one it will probably be very minor. Good luck to everyone who plays.. this map requires team work. Heres the link:

I'm really enjoying the map, v 1.2. But my friends and I ran into a dead end...we might think it's a glitch. After the second big zombie attack outside the statue area, the objective changed to "Explore the bank." We don't recall ever visiting a bank, but we found a new room with a cop in it, but nothing happens in there. We spent a good half hour walking around the map trying to figure out what to do.

Also another thing, that siege tank is still called "Terran Siege Tank, Siege Mode"

Fantastic map up until that point.

Thanks for ur positive feedback guys. Well did you and your friends go near the cop in the new building aka the bank hehe. He talks 2 u guys and tells u what 2 do next if not ur stuck.. As far as the terrain talk to tvirus he pretty much did all the terrai in the map.. Thnx for tellin us the bug bout the terran siege tank. I will probably release a v1.3 soon with more little things. Considering we were rushed to finish this due to the winter theme contest ;p

I feel so embarrased.. LoL I released a bugged version by mistake, haha. Now I'm a dumbass. anyway can some1 tell me how to delete things u uploaded on the dldb? here is the right version... sorry guys. I just tested out the non-bugged version and played for about 10 minutes before getting bored of the map. I played with 2 other people and we were doing okay (all had 3 cigs left and near full hp). After destroying the 2nd plane, I didn't feel the need to continue it so I left game.

T-Virus and I had decided to remove this map entirely from SEN until the contest is done. We gave Pigy the v 1.2 that is pretty much glitch free so he can judge it in the winter contest. We rushed the map and thats why we had so many glitchs to meet the dead line. We apologize to every1 who played the glitched versions but we will release it again once the winter theme contest is over. Once we release it, it will have no bugs.

PROS:
- The storyline is hilariously bad, to the point of it being satire.

CONS:
- The entire map consists of walking around aimlessly. This is not fun.
- Scavenging for invisible keys is not fun and does not constitute a puzzle.
- There is absolutely no variety to the boring combat.
- The map intros with an incredibly boring, long cut scene that cannot be skipped.
- Story messages clear the chat screen.
- Unit barricades make walking around annoying. Screws with the players' unit AI.
- You have a unit named "building" inside other buildings.
- The zombie horde part after the first boss is bugged such that it is either a cakewalk or an automatic loss.
- You use normal Display Messages instead of Transmissions, such that longer story messages disappear before being read.
- There is no benefit to choosing the Marine over the Ghost.
- Color codes codes are not used at all to spice up any of the unit names.
- The endless whistling wind sound is incredibly annoying, requiring the player to turn off his sound.
- The music you included is poorly looped. Also it is pointless and annoying, serving only to increase the map's file size.
- The map promotes smoking as a way to improve your health.

A few bugs:

Some items don't disappear after you pick them up.
The spider mine in the top left barricade (blocking the path with zerglings and an archon) is not invincible.
When you see the plane crashing, after it crashes it is not invincible (not sure if that was intended or not).
When you fight off zombies with the cops, the zombies attack the barricades instead of you (not sure if intended or not), and the cops say you "did a good job" even though there were still 50 zombies.

I really could care less about the storyline we wrote for the map. Its a fun map to play, that's all that i cared about from the start. I'm sorry it didn't have the elaborate storyline that most people hoped to see, but given the time we had it was thrown together and was still executed a lot better then most of the horror maps you will play these days.. I do understand what your saying about some of the cinematic; however, what the hell does that have to do with if the map is fun or not?

If your going for realism, go play the sims lol.
I find the map rather humorous and fun, sorry if you do not feel the same. As far as the minor glitches go, we really didn't give a shit about them thats why they are still there. Every map is going to have glitches, ones that really don't effect the game play should not bother you that much. Thank you for the feedback though.

All items disappear unless you are meaning the keys / notes. ( I did notice some didn't. )
Spider mine isnt invincible but you still can't shoot it.
Yes, the plane is suppose to be not invincible.
Yes, they are suppose to be attacking the barricades.

I really am not mocking you. In failing so hard, the storyline turned out to be hilarious and the only redeeming part of the map. If the story had made sense it would have been boring. Instead it is a whimsical (if unintentional) satire of how ridiculous the plots of zombie stories are.
