Have you guys ever thought about having an alert when someone quotes you? i know some other forums that do it and i believe it's a good idea.
Relatively ancient and inactive
Well the alert would only be a small part of your screen that says "# of new quotes" , not like a big alert in your face, unless that seriously disturbed you which wouldn't make sense.
this.

Would be a nifty feature. If other people actually want it.
None.
I wouldn't mind a feature like this.
None.
If optional, then I third it. Even though I don't think I would use it. The 'quote notes' would probably just annoy me. Not that I wouldn't give it a try first.
None.
Yeah, but look at the various ways I can quote you:
Quote from name:isolatedpurity
Would be a nifty feature. If other people actually want it.
Normal from quote button.
Quote from isolatedpurity
Would be a nifty feature. If other people actually want it.
Without "=name:"
Would be a nifty feature. If other people actually want it.
Abbreviation.
"Would be a nifty feature. If other people actually want it." - IP
Without bb code.
None.
Obviously it would only work with =name or =mid, it was pretty frivolous to point that out brono.

Then what would be the point? The quote alert would be inaccurate then if someone didn't use one of those two methods to quote someone.

And the majority of SeN is not intelligent. Just look up one of those topics that every states there age.

Every quote in this topic has been quoted "correctly". If there was such a reason to quote correctly, I for one would do so.

I support this.
And bronto, age != intelligence.
None.
Just ignore Brontobyte, that's what I do.
Anyway, I guess this would be a nice feature. I'd use it if it was implemented.
