Possible reasons for random drops?

At a specific point during gameplay of my map, one or more players seem to drop at random. I say at random, because it's not always the same player number, nor does it always affect just one, or multiple players. It can also not occur at all.

Triggers firing at this point are fairly simple as well, CreateUnit triggers (of which one fires, followed by a wait), and DisplayText triggers (Again, followed by a wait of the same duration). The cycle happens once with no drops, then on the second spawn/message/wait, players drop. The first unit spawned is a defiler, the second is a siege tank. I have noticed that the defiler runs off for a few seconds before going back to the spawn location for some reason when created (It will also run and plague player units that are too close, then run back and follow trigger orders)

At first I thought it might be a string index that was too high for the game to handle, but I've checked numerous times now and none of the strings being displayed at the time are above the index limit. The next thing I checked was if it was possibly a bad player color (I used flag beacons, with remove flag triggers) but even using colors no higher than ID 12, and disabled flag beacon sprites, the drops still occur.

The only thing I can imagine that is causing it at this point is somehow the defiler's plague, but that shouldn't be causing drops should it? I do have a trigger restoring its energy to 100% at all times, but even so, that also shouldn't matter I'd think.

EDIT: I've also checked the crash list on the wiki, and can't find any of those conditions that could be causing the issue.

well when these players drop, do you ever type like /whois to see if their still online? and if you did do you check if their still in the game, the ways of dropping can vary as well to maybe to do the process of elimination to what may be causing the problem, when you say "crash list", do you mean that you have checked all the possibilities of if people crashed? because i was playing a map once, it was always fine but then theirs a unit somewhere that happens at some point of the game that if you click it, your sc crashes or like an amount of trigger loading at once with hyper triggers in a certain pattern may also cause the trouble, but then again in all the possibilities, it may be just you having bad luck XD

Players who drop from the game are still online and listed as in that game, and are able to continue play until they manually leave, or they lose. Their game does not crash so far as I'm aware (I've dropped from this bug in testing it, but only once, and the game did not crash)

As far as I'm aware, I haven't used any units that should cause crashes (None of the unused units aside from heroes, excluding the non-spawnables). The only sprites I've used are pre-placed disabled terran flag beacons (To prevent flag spawns)

The map does not use hyper triggers, though that's merely my laziness, not wanting to rewrite a couple hundred triggers to compensate.

You don't happen to have 0 (or close to 0) build times, and you're not using EUDs?
Does it drop with countdown or instantly?

There are no buildable units, thus no build times have been modified (No workers are able to build anything), and no I'm not using EUDs. The players do drop instantly, without a countdown.

Once i was playing a map with some friends and each time defiler casted plague someone was dropped from the game, i dont know the reason anyway.

I'll disable the plague and see if that fixes the issue. Hopefully it's that simple, since the defiler doesn't particularly have to have it.

EDIT: Apparently disabling the computer's plague fixed it, seems like a bit of a bandaid fix though. I'm not sure why, and I'd like to know what was actually causing the drops.

Do you have any extended units that the computer might have plagued? I'm not sure about this, but maybe some units crash when plagued.

The only things that I can think of that were being hit were hero units, and Vespene Gas Sac 1. The only non-standard hero unit I can think of that can be plagued is Stukov. This sorta leads me to believe it's the vespene gas sacs that are dropping people when plagued, as I've never seen anyone drop when the stukov got plagued.

This happens with me frequently, or used to actually. Everyone would drop, one after another (not all at once mind you), except for oblivion users. I could never quite figure out why o.O

Anyways, it could be their speed of internet connection, they get dropped because of to many units on the map. Was it doing this before the new patch came out? Or did you just start making the map?

Probably the second one, but I didn't think plague would cause that (I tried enabling it and watching, and players dropped when it was cast, regardless of how many units were visible from that trigger set), and it isn't a trigger telling the defiler to plague, it just runs off to nearby hostile units/buildings, plagues, then runs back and waits for the trigger commands.

There aren't any EUDs in the map (Compatibility is nice :P), but knowing my luck (and my network) it could also just be network problems, or that I just have horrible luck.

It did just start happening this patch, but I hadn't updated it in a while before that.

I do, but it was dropping people before I added them, so that's not the issue. They're just disabled terran flag beacon sprites.
