SEN Temple Siege Tournament & Challenge

Rules & Regulations
- We will all be playing the Tournaments Official Version*.
- There will be NO hacks, spoofs or other starcraft modifications tolerated.
- Intentional usage of bugs or exploits to advantage your team will result in disqualification for the entire team.
- Intentional usage of bugs or exploits to retaliate to the other teams bugs or exploits will also result in disqualification for the entire team.
- Teams should consist of 3** active StarCraft: Brood War players.
- The winners of will have to face: Shocko, ClansAreForGays and MiniMoose2707 in the grand finale to take the title of Champions, and receieve a mineral prize***
- All teams must designate 1 Captain (hopefully the most active of the team) to represent them.
- The captain must have a SEN account, the remaining members however, do not.
- These rules are not finalized and are subject to change, including new rules, removal of previous rules, or modifications to all rules.

I would, but last time Moose kicked my arse..

Time for the lot of you to rally up your friends and practise, practise practise.
If any of you have a copy of 1.4M then that would probably be your best bet for a version to practise with, though it doesn't hurt to play any versions, characters generally play the same, just little balance issues.

Is there already a competitional hero selection system?
Something like:
1 team A (which team starts is random) choses 1 hero and then the other team B choses 1 hero, then A chose 1 hero and B choses 2 heros and A chose the last one.

Something that Moose may consider, however I highly doubt it...

This is a good point. I know some stubborn players that refuse to select their character until everyone else has, simply choosing unit counters. Then again that itself might be balanced out by the fact that they also don't get their choice of any character, while the other can pick anything. So the first team could set up unit combos, or simply pick characters that count their teammates(dm/vot/mech team).

So uh yea, anyone got a team of two yet? I need to join one. ;o

Well, I've been playing horribly lately, but I'll give this a shot. If anyone needs a teammate, I'm available.

Any guesses as to when this tourny will take place? I am not available to play on Thursdays and Saturdays until past midnight.

Silly shocko, why not have more fun and kill people in the game? Why be a 'Champion' Team? Thats no fun.

Anyway, to fix the selection v. i propose a new v. A version, that has 2 selection areas (though I don't know if there is enough locations left for that o.O), and they can't see each other, but you can't get your unit til both sides have picked their units, and if there is a conflict, people will have to keep trying to repick I guess

At the end of the day, you've just gotta make the best of whatever units you get, I mean I know CAFG, Moose and I when we play we'll pick before, during or after the other team picks, there is always counters to other units, but there are also certain combo's that make up for that. Bottom line, the skilled players wont mind so much, so no need to make a fix?

Why does your team have to be the last team? There should be a bracket ladder where the best teams meet up at top instead of facing you 3 at the end no matter what.
