Basically I'm looking for a list of non web-based proxies. Could anyone help?

Yep Yep I bein getting online on school firewall computers since 2004

there is a couple
http://proxy.org/
(the CGIProxy is good for schools since they work and not all blocked)

I also never used this one but it showed promise

theres list and lists.

Why do I give you more than onne? and just a list is that some company do block most of these and it is best to find one that can beat your firewall or just be anonymous.

Didn't BWHacks have a proxy for a while? I think I remember using it to get past my schools firewall, since it's pretty private.

I sent that post over 2 weeks ago.

Im looking for a non-web based proxy, preferably located in Canada (School firewall...)
I tried googling it. But the response times SUCK.

Hmm, I just went through that tutorial, but it didn't work, I'm betting it's because my ISP blocks port 80.. I tried changing which port it goes through, and then forwarding the port, still nothing though, tell me if it works for you.
