It appears I choose good themes, However seeing as it's winter, I think I will leave the theme to winter. If moose lets do another contest maybe I'll choose parallel univirse.

I never once said it rocked, I just said it was better then this one. I mean you can only be so creative with a theme that obviously ISN'T creative seeing as who would of guessed the theme be winter for the winter contest, how original...

Regardless of that, my point was more at the stupid rules about tilesets and no bounds, defenses stuff like that, what if somebody made a REALLY good bound? You cannot have personal prejudice in this, sure you suggested the contest, but as you stated this is mooses fundings. I am okay with keeping the theme winter (however lame it may be) but I am not okay with your personal bias into what a good map is and what a good map is not.

Is a single player map alright, even if it was possible to make it multiplayer? (as in, would points be docked)

Movie maps are fine, you can make any map, You wont nessicarly do well though.

May I remind people you MUST start an entirely NEW map.

Single player maps are fine, But may I remind you the reason single player maps like rush and dungeon escape were fun, was because they made up for what they didn't have in multiplayer, the fun factor and originality of single player.

Well pigy_g already written some ideas now for my map and so far seems to be going well like. Haven't started on it of yet just ideas in notepad ;

Just need to wait for contest to begin to work on the winter map, sigh btw since 5th is in like 1 hour does that mean I can start it then? or 5th in the U.S? since I am australian and all.

People complaining and never being satisfied with the theme is just a regular thing that happens in every mapping contest.

Even if people liked the theme most of them wouldn't make a map anyway.
