Ok for player 5 some reason when I start up a Top Vs Bottom game, it only allows 7 people, I have Starting Locations for all players and non of the players are set to inactive. Anyone know what the problem is?

None.

I don't fully understand what you are saying. Do you mean that one of the players doesn't exist even though you have placed a start location for it?

If so, then the thing happened to me too once (or twice?), and i do not know what the reason is. I tried doing things like removing the player's start location, saving map, exitting scmdraft, then reload, replace, save, and eventually i got it work. I never understood what exactly happened.

Post your map.

That wouldn't affect the number of spots available for human players to join.

I have had a bug with ScmDraft that it doesn't recognize the starting locations I placed. It was just like I didn't place them.

You'll have to open the map in another editor, possibly recreate the starting locations and then save the map.
That should fix it. But be careful, as switching editors may result in other undesired effects. Keep backups.

Speaking of which, using ScmDrafts backup database, you could also go back to a working version of your map if possible.

I've actually found that if when your placing the start location, if you just click a few times then it tends to work.

The bug of invisible starting location after placing it only once, is not what I mean. You can SEE the location in the editor, even when you update the screen, choose another layer etc. You can even jump to it. BUT when you start sc and play the map sc acts as you haven't placed it.

I know what your saying, and it kept happening to me. but ever since I clicked a few times the problem hasn't happened anymore.

Strange... that hasn't worked for me. I created it like a dozen times but it still wouldn't work.

Oh I forgot to post that i fixed it ^_^
I did what storm said, which was delete the location, save the map, close draft, open the map, place the location, and save again.
Thanks storm!

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
