As I was cleaning my registry with a bit too-powerful registry cleaner, RegSeeker, I accidentally deleted a large (+2000 entries) portion of my registry. Luckily I had a backup, but it won't restore the backup. It gave me the following error:
Please help! I've disabled my A/V, tried to add it manually through RegEdit (I have an administrator account), used the backup feature in RegSeeker, and even split up the backup into several smaller files. Nothing works!

How did you go about deleting "too much"?
That reg file seems to be corrupted. Try another backup.
