This maybe a new idea for somthing some1 can create, but really, its to help me make this one map i'm working on, i will post this in the help compartment too...

Idea: It would be nice to have a program that tells you all the possibilities you canhave from a certain amount of randomized switchs.

Help: I'm half way threw but i got stuck, can someone help me figure out how to get all the possibilities in 7 switchs (128 Possibilities). This is where i'm at...

Umm, there is a program that will automatically do all the switch calculatios for you. It was created by chuiu, I'll dig it up tomorrow after I get home.

The windows calculator works well. Figure out the index of the combination you want (remember N switches has 2^N possible values and the first combination is index 0; the last is (2^N) - 1). Type it into windows calculator and hit "BIN." Digits that are 0 represent cleared switches, digits that are 1 represent set switches.

Learn to count in binary. Do it like this:

(0 denotes a switch being off, 1 denotes it being on)



And keep going on like that.

Or... Rather than using so many switches and wasting so much time figuring out the combinations, you can use the much simpler Single Switch Randomization method.
