I was wondering if a single computer can run multiple AIs, like if I wanted it to run certain AIs in one spot, and other AIs in another spot, and then just stand still in other places, could I do it?

"Run AI at location"?

Well, I'm pretty sure you can run more than one AI.

Yes, but I'm talking like Melee AIs. Sorry for not being specific.

Eh... The way SC AI works is really sketchy. I've tried stuff like this before and failed miserably. Generally, it's best to stick to one AI per player. But do some experimenting if you feel inclined to do so.

I found that logic helps best to decide if AIs may collide.
You can obviously run a melee AI and execute a enter bunker AI. Also cast web etc. doesn't influence other AIs.
Similarily it is possible to run a expansion melee AI or "value this area highter"-AI at the computers mineral base and a regular campaign/melee AI at his main base.

But I don't know if 2 standard melee AIs executed at different locations work well but you should easily be able to test that. Post your results pls.

Ugh... The two separate areas will not be able to affect eachother in any way, I think at the most I just want a mining AI that I can run in one spot, but not everywhere.

Okay, lemme just say the whole layout:

My plan is that in my map (Movie Contest) You'll be able to turn units into computer, and then you'll be able to run AIs on units(such as SCVs) making them mine and things, and since all the players are separated, but they are all using the same computer, I'm wondering if that will cause any conflict.

I think you should study the actual AI scripts. AI scripts with similar AI orders and such will possibly lock the AI or make it act funny. Some AIs give money to the computer player which can be a problem.

Check out AI scripts here: http://www.broodwarai.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=285
