:payne:

Okay, I think you all know it: I'm working on a D2 map, BUT my progress is very slow.
I'm still working on the stupid terrain and I'm getting more lazy everyday I open that map... so I'm asking once again if someone would like to help me??
We all know it won't get forgotten once done, doing this would just help me very much!
Thanks in advance! :D

What I want:
The Areas of D2
My D2 thread
Tristram: With burned down houses. Terrain is dirt/grass, walls are like all walls: cliffs. It's a unique terrain, it never changes, so I want it mostly like the one in D2.
Underground Passage: On many levels (talking of the terrain, see here. As you see, the stairs are little). It should be like the Den of Evil: darky. So use Dirt or the same blends as for the DoE.
Black Marsh: Change the top side into Temple walls, but keep the stairs.
The rest will be updated once that is done.

Alright man,
Seeing as I enjoyed D2 so very much and I feel like doing some terrain.
which part do you need help with?

The damn Monastery Gate.
So far, I had decided to place it just up to the starting village.
You can enlarge the area if you want, but you'll need to make a new one (so you let what I've started alone :P).

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

Go ahead and make a list of specific things you need done that you might want help on. Personally, I dislike your tower (it looks like a pit) and think a temple building in the terrain ladder would suit it better.

Is the monastery going to be in the temple terrain?

Can someone take a screen of the monastery so I can compare? I don't own the game, it was a friend who lent it to me.

:payne:

I think I shouldn't have made it into an other part finally :S
You guys should make temple walls for all the top of the area (the side where there is the stairway) and like that you'll just have to continue the area directly with the stairway. I'm not sure if you guys get what I mean...

EDIT:
For the things I want, the list is in the first post.

I think the monastary is a li'l bit ez to do, if you use cave walls, like Vi3t-X said, and use sprites to cover the top of the gate, then use a li'l more sprites to get the walls darker to match the over headed ones, and you can walk underneath it, like in D2!! i wish i could try, but i'm not a SC computer right now, so i cant do it until Monday after 5:30 [maybe]

Dont put the others in till u see mine, so it will give me monday to work on it, without having an unfair disadvantage!

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

does it have to be using serious extended terrain?

Monastery gate could be rather simple.

or less simple. Use your favorite temple sprite.

Hmmm... it's funny how that looks good (but blocky :S). What's wrong with it: if I use that, I'll have to change my pattern for my Black Marsh area :O
But if you wanna try, go for it! As long as it's not blocky :D
Btw, rockz, you speak french? :O
