My planet stategy was like...
a planet -60 +60 +120 +180 from my current location and then in the galaxy below me, I had 2. And all the rest of the planets I used to help with my nomad style. I'd colonize a new spot. Send a colony ship like 30 ss's away, in the same ss as my most promising potential target (for the quickest time to get there, of course). I'd leech the area completely dry and move to that next ship. Delete the one behind me and repeat. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Things to know: The squeaky wheel gets the grease

I'm going to attack her later tonight and try to think of something witty to write to her. I'm thinking 'This is sparta!', mostly because I love the techo music videos as of late. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Things to know: The squeaky wheel gets the grease

Umm... you should laugh at her? =P
If she does pose a threat to you, once you get another colony, just constantly circle your resources around. And Ace and I will go kick her butt... unless she's newbie protected against us. Try some witty things, but don't piss them off too much... we don't want a war. Lol ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I just raided a bunch of colonies for like 200k/200k/75k resources...
On top of the 400k/100k/50k resources I already have but can not spend because everything is taking forever. So resources I do not need. In fact, if anyone wants resources for me to pay them back or to start out, I'll dish some out. She poses no threat, thus I raided her with only my cargo ships. I'm not worried about glynn or anyone, even though I don't fleet save. You might want to kick me out of the guild because I do tend to piss off everyone in the universe except those who trade me duet. Like I said, I was #2 in uni7... And I started in galaxy 3. So I didn't have any kind of lead. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Things to know: The squeaky wheel gets the grease

Erm... if I want to die, sure fatso
I strategically level up. Horde: Depending how much res we send you. I only teched up to like 5/5/5 mines because people sent me around 6k of each res. I'd send you some, especially if you were in g1 or g2. You tech straight to s. cargos. No bullshitting around with other buildings and mines. It will keep your points low so that, once you get your first cargo, you can blindly raid anyone with less points (or actually even a little more ) then you. They most likely did more mines, so the fact you didn't means all their points aren't defense. Then you tech to esp probes while continuing to build cargos. That way, you can make informed decisions about who to raid. While doing this, you want to tech up your comp tech and esp tech to make more and more raids. After that, you tech to l.cargo and then cruisers and colony ships (optionally do l.cargo after). The colony ship will allow you to make a close ( ***temporary *** ) colony or two so you can share ship production between two (or more) planets, because if you are raiding right, you should have lots more cash then you can possibly spend. So while you tech to cruisers, you can build a few h.fighters (not too many as these are worthless) and start raiding any colonies with a few rocket launchers. Pretty soon your area should be leeched dry so while doing all this, build more colony ships and start placing your 4 permanent colonies. You need some type of design for this because bad placement may screw you for the rest of the game. Erm yeah. Mines aren't important. Once you have a small empire, you can tech them up for fun / back up res in case you get fleet crashed / for permanent points. But, that really depends on how you play, I guess. Edit 2: I see that they added a new ship: battlecrusier... Funny, long time ago I suggested to ogame they should have something with RF against battleships... With another ship with RF against them. And lookie... Destroyers have RF against them. Now there's no technical "best ship" for the backbone of your fleet. Yay. Very nice strategy ip. There is a possible flaw, but it's not too much to worry about. There is the slight chance one of your colonies may get blindly robbed while you aren't there... but of course that can always happen. May I suggest making *temporary* colonies with around 20-30ss apart, near a place to rob people, then ditching that colony to the next one and circling around?

Hynk:
If you tech to cargo's before doing much mines, all your peers will not be sending cargo's at you blindly. You are under noob protection from anyone who might have actual fighting ships. I build 1 or 2 rocket launchers as well when I have lots of metal and no crystal to continue cargos (probably should have included that). By the time you get a HF, your peers might STILL be doing mines and research. Temporary colonies 20-30 ss apart is way to close. For me at least. My general range is like 20-30 on both sides of my planet, so if I put another planet on the edge of my current range, I'm still farming the same ss in one of the directions. The idea is to get fresh meat. Exception, of course, is that very edge has lots of good planets to raid and you NEED the few extra minutes off your travel time to plop a colony there. It all depends on the planets in the future. Like a previous post said, you put your new temp colony in the most promising SS for the incredible short travel time of 45ish minutes. Basically, you spend 10 minutes with all empty fleet slots and probe the next 60 solar systems. Fun, hey? Oh, and it helps to occasionally look in this area ahead of time to see who is most active, who is not. Bedazed: Depends on your playing style. It costs too much NOT to do if you are primarily a raider. It saves DUET and all the res from failed missions due to lower travel times. Plus your fleet is always on the move so no one can really study you, unless, they are stalking you. Your resources should go to your factories asap so you should never have unguarded res at perm colonies to be farmed with. As well as having a few spare l.cargo's laying around everywhere for raiding inactives in each planet's range as well as res saving if attacked. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Things to know: The squeaky wheel gets the grease

Since Uni 22 is fairly new compared to Uni 7, usually it lacks alot of incredibly powerful players. Usually, newer the universe, the more violent it is, as people tech fast to light fighter + 1 cargo...
We do need to keep raiding in order to advance fast. But when we get to higher ranks, we could have a problem with that. ( If we get unlucky, we could get into an ugly position ) Let's hope we don't get unlucky. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
