I'm pretty sure that even horizontally flipped it looks right, since most SC tiles have flipped versions (damn lazy SC coders).

Except the surface tiles. But those are too subtle to really notice being flipped.

I like working from a corner - but I don't like being IN the corner...
I don't really 'make maps' but I experiment with making them, and whenever I do, I have a border so I'm not 'really' in the corner, but it doesn't take up much space.

Yes, I'm clinically insane.

I also like left-to-right progression.
Makes you feel like you are getting somewhere
