The Official Terrain Ladder Hosted by lil-Inferno Contains 124 Pictures, 5 Maps, 1 Terrain Map Compilation, and 16 Members Major Contributors Include Jello-Jigglers Note: Those of you who were in the Sen v4 ladder, feel free to send in your blends again. Also feel free to post not only Jungle, explore other tilesets. I am starting this system which will be used to display the knowledge and best work of Terrain Makers on SEN. It will be a simple system which will give minerals as bonuses and display your glorious terrain for all to see and admire! I will be giving away 50 minerals for entry pieces, and 25 minerals for every other person you ascend above on the ladder, starting from the bottom. All SEN members can join this exciting ladder to find the best blends on Starcraft. There are no requirements. You can have sprites, blocky concept terrain, and do such in any tileset you feel comfortable in. But remember, the better your terrain, the more minerals you can earn, as well as respect from your peers here at SEN. The fact that people are setting up position for you to climb, I will not send rewards for the first set of posts until I feel comfortable having you climb and to display your improvements. This rule will be carried out from this point on and will effect all new ladder members. Once the economy grows and fellow members start to contribute, I will give out the rewards. Errors do occur, if you find a link not working or anything out of the ordinary; please contact me via personal message. I will try and continue to update both the database of maps at the bottom and the host terrain screenshots. Realizations that some map makers do steal concepts and ideas for one another; I will personally check anything that looks suspiciously familiar and make sure it doesn't have any other key displays of copying. A : To submit your terrain, simply Personal Message lil-Inferno on SEN with information about yourself as a terrain maker, personally, and your terrain piece. Send a Photoshack or other image hosted link. Links that fail to work will not be used and they will not be updated to your current position. Please give me a name for the link that I will post in the ladder that leads to your terrain piece, if you do not, I will name the terrain piece myself. Q : How Is My Terrain Rated? A : All terrain is rated by lil-Inferno and can not be voted on. As updates occur, I may change position of ladder members constantly. I will only accept terrain that has a hint of extended terrain, but some can be isometrical as long as it has a hint of extended terrain. Q : What If I Feel I Was Judged Unfairly? As per the other terrain ladder, people usually donate minerals to it. Also, i believe Moose or someone in a moderator position gave a big chunk of change in the last one to keep it running. I suppose if no one donates Inferno will just try to contribute more to SEN in various posts to get enough minerals to keep it going.

You won't get the minerals yet, at least not until the economy grows. I need contributors. And if you feel like your terrain was neglected, send me a PM complaining why you think you deserve a higher position. Alternatively, if you have more pieces, chances are you will ascend higher. |
