You tried to register joshgt2 (before you signed in as joshgt) but never validated it.
But why would I have needed to validate it or anything, I already used the account from SEN v4 and I didn't think we would need to have it validated again. I didn't even get anything on my e-mail about having to revalidate my account again. Is there anyway you could delete my old 'Joshgt2' account so I can change my name now to that?

Out of curiousity... are all the fines for spamming that were built up over time reapplied when minerals are recalculated?
Or you can just send me the recalculation script so I can figure out what it does myself. ;o
it does not calculate old fines ;/
it's in the admin hack file

No idea what happened to my old name/stats but I assumed it was just lost with the site reset. I was wondering why I got to start with -150 minerals after I made one post though? I've read some good articles but can't rate them yet because I am in negative minerals. Is this some sort of intentional abuse prevention thing (For voting/rating perhaps) or did I get negative minerals by some sort of forum bug? Also how come you don't get any minerals for content submitted? Or is it only for certain content that you get them (posting articles or something.)?
None.
Yeah, all accounts got lost earlier.
All members start with -150 minerals.
For the tutorials, it's how Moose prevents abuse, aye.
You don't get minerals for posting maps and the like to prevent DLDB spamming. Good reviews can net you minerals (perhaps good tutorial submissions as well). And then there's posting ;o
None.
What about map submissions which you yourself deem worthy?
None.
Ah ok that makes sense, and now that i think about it is a good idea. Cut down on maps that have to be reviewed with are crappy. Glad to hear feedback is still rewarded :-). What Rating % do articles start at? Because I read a melee strategy one that was very good but only had like 53% on its rating. When I was unable to comment on it was when I noticed the negative minerals stuff
.

http://www.staredit.net/?p=tutorials&area=ratingAlso, the rating is just "53",
not "53%". The ratings are not intended to be percentages or percentiles.
I just read the thread explaining ratings that you linked and it makes perfect sense now--sounds like a good system :-). Just will be nice when I can contribute my opinion to the articles read, I guess since its at 53 now many people read that section very much which makes sense since this site tends to lean more towards the UMS side of things--I think.
