Ok guys, I can't contain myself: I'm working on a mod.

The best part is that it's going to be ready in a couple weeks!

It's going to be completely different from all other mods, promise!

Story = in development

Information = I'm just going to tell that it's a NEW SIMPLE RTS using Starcraft core. Think Warcraft 1 or 2.

In a couple weeks I will probably need your assistance to fix some bugs and do some testing.
I'm sure you will like the mod.

PD: I made the graphics myself, but I'm not a designer at all, I'm more of a programmer.

Lots of aliasing to fix on those graphics. See the white outlines? It's like you rendered with anti-aliasing on. I believe 3ds max has an option to turn off edge-AA which should fix that.



Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

I don't think he rendered anything. I believe he hand drew them in paint xD

Best of luck to you! I'll definitely try it out, will this mod be more focused on singleplayer or multiplayer?

Yes!! I'm aware of that. I used Blender BTW.

Hahaha, the units were made on paint (pixel art)... and the buildings were made on Blender... then I added outlines and a couple of magic by hand to make it look more consistent with units.

Well... I'm going to do a short campaign but also will write the AI for custom gameplay.

I guess I can say it will be more focused on singleplayer, but it will be still totally playable in multiplayer.

The images are still there. Sadly, I don't think I will be able to finish it =(, I don't have time to work on it. It's at a 85% though.

These are the things that still have to finished:

+ some minor bugs
+ some modifications to the UI when selecting maps and races
+ solve the firegraft icon problem
+ custom AI
+ info icons
+ redraw a special building
+ implement portraits
+ finish protoss hud
+ make all the wireframes
+ finish maps (only triggers, AI, and texts left)
+ sounds

and... that's all. If I could manage to sit down for 2-3 weeks I could do all of this. But like I said, this game is not a priority anymore.
