Find Me On Discord (Brood War UMS Community & Staredit Network)

This is my first wireless headset and I hate it. I'm coming from a Steelseries v2 wired, so that is what I'm comparing it to.

I can hear background static constantly, no matter where I am in the house or with what things plugged or unplugged. If I turn the volume down under max I can't hear the static and can still hear the game, but still - shouldn't have to do that. Is this just a feature with all wireless headsets?

It has a wireless transmitter which is USB, and then a cable going out of that which plugs into the green port. There is no pink port for the microphone. Not sure if this is a result of that, but the next major gripe I have is I can hear my microphone through my own headset. WTF?? What sort of feature is that?? How does that happen? Something to do with not having a separate pink audio port? Even if I mute the microphone through software, or through the headset button, the sound still comes through.

The transmitter has a ultra bright green LED that cannot be turned off. I'm thinking of cracking open the transmitter and disabling it, or maybe covering the thing in duct-tape.

Oh, and it clamps my head like a vice - insta headache in 20 min. Hopefully this goes away.

So can anyone help with these issues??
