Storyline:

I tried following the original games storyline but since it was a single player game, I added my own 'adaptations' to accommodate for a 4 player story. It's still somewhat the same story.
Mio and Mayu Amakura are twin sisters who wander along a forest one evening when they come across a small river and rest for a while. They begin talking about anything sisters do and eventually come to the subject of events from the past. In the middle of the conversation, Mayu spots a beautiful red butterfly and as if drawn to it, is lured deeper into the forest. Little did they know, they have traveled into All God's Village marked by twin deity stones.
While looking for her sister, Mio comes across a seemingly innocent woman facing the entrance of the village, crying, and mumbling something under her breath. As she approaches, she suddenly vanishes and Mayu, her sister, appears behind her as several butterflies flutter away from her. Mayu, in a somewhat tranced state, explains to her sister she knows of this village and thus, head down to check it out.
A little further down, they meet another 2 characters conversing with one another. Still cautious from her previous experience with the woman, Mio decides to hide and listen in on their conversation. Upon listening in for a moment, Mio and Mayu discover it's Itsuki and Yae, two friends who apparently escaped from the village but have returned for an uncertain reason. So now, together, you head down into the village to help Itsuki and Yae.

There are no guns, no knives, not even a wooden stick in Fatal Frame; there is a camera with 'excorcismal' power called the Camera Obscura to help you defeat your ghostly enemies. So instead of stimming and shooting down every enemy in your path, you'll have to use a spell-type system which requires actual aim. You first choose what type of film you want in your camera, then you have a stargate which shoots the film when you build a scout. The aiming part of this is done with an observer centered over your hero. You just move the observer over the enemy and then build a scout. If it isn't over the enemy, nothing will happen. Though this may get a little frusturating at times, I think it's the core element of this game.

So, I think that's about it for now, I think I got the basics down. I seem to be having a little trouble getting any screen shots but I have prepared a short demo which does show what I believe to be my completed point-and-fire system. There are about 7 enemies you can fight including a boss. Although it is a minimum 2 player game, I haven't added the check to see if 2 players are playing so you're free to try it on your own, it's just going to be difficult.
The map is somewhat large so it is compressed and is about 500kb.
So, please, any suggestions or comments would be great!
Woah, it seems compressing it messed up all my strings. Here's a better v.
