Maybe like uhh, the Truck runs out of fuel or something or breaks down and you have to maybe defend//find parts or something to keep it going I guess o_o. It's really cliche though.
Maybe for the aliens one, people get abducted and you need to save them xP Or maybe have like one of those really big buildings somewhere and have them enterable as a quest to do something... say... look for clues leading to what happened? idk Smilie of the Day : Soo yeahhh, glgl ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

too add on to that maybe have sections where the truck stops and you can freely explore to restock on supplies... Maybe you can pick branching paths...
At the start of each chapter maybe have a fun minigame... of course make it skippable... barrow some from mini party game. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Truth hurts. Maybe not as much as jumping on a bicycle with a seat missing, but it hurts.

-First, decide what you want to do. Zombies would be best IMO.
Ideas: -Stop in city square where there was a former military perimeter. Activate and restock auto-turrets with ammo while survivors rally on the truck. -Find explosives to clear debris in way of truck. Possibly use magnet crane to move truck at one point. -Tunnel sequences perhaps? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Is it in you now?

You could make use of the Warbringer hero to have other playable trucks: either weaker ones for a convoy, or upgrade to a stronger truck at some point.
You could start the game with triggers to set the shields to 0% constantly, then when you get to a certain area you could get a 'shield' upgrade or module (psi emitter powerup?) or something and the triggers would stop firing and shields would act as normal. Reaver as the base means you could add scarabs when you want to give the player limited ammunition. You could ramp reaver damage up over time using the reaver damage upgrade. Also is this single player or multi player? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() O)FaRTy1billion -- "Lanthanide -- surely you have photos of yourself dressed up as a girl, az?" I don't have pictures of me dressed up as a girl.

I choose you!.. um.. if that's alright with you...

Pretty much any scenarios that forces the players to do something that will put them at an disadvantage or require them to change their strategies.
Since protecting the truck and getting the truck to somewhere safe are the two driving forces (lol pun) of the game mechanics, any scenarios that interfere with either of the two will be good. I'm unsure about your map's specifics, but I think it'd be a great idea that one player has to be in the truck, and therefore cannot defend it, in order to drive it. This creates a good conflict between the two goals that you want the players to achieve (i.e. protect the truck and getting it somewhere safe). You can also create scenarios where getting the truck somewhere, like maybe a repair shop, will allow it to be more safe for that "chapter", but the way to get there is more dangerous. Short term goal vs. Long term goal conflict. |
