I don't have an opinion on this topic, but I'm sure most of you do.
Post what you feel about the country I'm assuming you live in.
If you don't live in America, post what you feel about it anyways.

Good country, founded on good beliefs, the only problem is that nowadays people are getting too fat, and too arrogant.

Born in it, live in it, and proud of it; there's no other place that I'd want to live in right now. Canada is the only other competition because of it's natural environment and scores of hot asian chicks :D

As well as less religious, a bad thing. I eagerly await the second coming of our lord.

How is becoming "less religious" a bad thing? We'll have less crusades.

Born in Germany, raised in the US, really wish I had been able to stay in Germany. I hate this country.

[unserious] Yeah, if Germans were fighting the war on terror, its ass would've been blitzkrieg'd by now and we'd be done... Of course we'd have to quickly start a war on something else, because just winning the war on terror wouldn't be enough appeasement. [/unserious]

I like the United States... of course, I haven't really seen other countries so I couldn't really say. I like the freedoms we pretend we have... (Patriot act much?)

? The United States is significantly more religious than most European countries now, of all first world countries religion pervades politics and the culture of everyday life in the United States more than in most others. What do you think the chances are of a Jew, a Muslim, or an Atheist being elected to the presidency come this election? And how can all of you make such sweeping generalizations about the populace of a country of three hundred million? It's nice living in a country in which I am not a citizen, I don't have to feel embarrassed for those around me when they make such broad and biased claims without any sort of justification whatsoever. "Yeah, everyone in the United States is really full of themselves because they've invaded a desert country half way across the world, I base this on my personal experience by the way but I think the people in my town and the news reporters I've seen pretty much represent the entire country." -____-;;

The population of the United States is, for the most part, spread out more than in most other first world countries due to its vase size in comparison to its population. I enjoy being able to go cycling in mountain trails an still within an hour's distance of a major city, such possibilities don't really exist in England or Korea (Canada is similar to the United States in this respect, though). Like in any country or any society, there are some intelligent people and some not so intelligent people. How many of you have lived for a significant amount of time in any other country?

America. I base my view of America my home country off of 3 questions: What WAS America? What IS America? What WILL BE America? My Answers are: America was first the rebellious colonies that wanted to have their own control. Then it became the haven of freedom for immigrants from many other countries. Now, it has become an endless hole where immigrants are still sucked in with bribes of freedom, but in return they lose many other things they had: Human Virtues (which i personally don't believe in). In the future i see America as a desolate battlefield marked as the destroyer of human life on Earth.

So basically a mexican who has no source of income in Mexico should not immigrate (legally or not) to America to find a job and support his family and leave himself and the rest of his family to starve to death? I'm SURE Mexico grants more rights, virtues, and hope to its people than does America...

If that's what American would become, then I cant bare to imagine how the rest of the world would look...

Honestly some of u ppl are not looking at reality. You guys do not realize how great America truly really is when you compare it to all the countries around the world. There might be flaws to our political or economic system, but there's no such thing as a perfect political/economic/etc system. In reality there are minimal, if any, countries that have just as good or better political/economic systems.

And you can't seem to understand because of this great reality, people here are corrupt, lazy, ignorant, arrogant, and above all else, stupid.

Sometimes, you need to look at other countries to see the problem instead of constantly living in this dream world and being ignorant.

The only thing I don't like about america is the roads. They're so confusing. It says "Exit 73" but really it's "Exit 72", but it doesn't say that. WHich is stupid. And Oregon state police are retarded.

Btw, I live in canada, and I use macs. I'm used to simple stuff. :P

So if this great reality is the root to all these problems the people have here in America, then I guess we must throw away our Bill of Rights, our Constitution, our amendments, our Checks and Balances, our ability to get a free education, our ability to find a job in the job market, and everything else that engineered the foundations of America.

The best country in the world. I hate how other countries thinks we are ignorant. Where would they be without us? Ruled by Hitler. America never said we are perfect, yet other countries say that we claim that. To the people who hate America, give the reasons why. I bet you that there is the same problem in the country you prefer. The only problem I see is the fatness of Americans, but that is only like 13% of America.

I love America. Best nation on the planet, by far. I've got my reasons, and I don't feel like typing them all out.

What really pisses me off is when is when people like Michael Moore claim to love America, but just shit all over it.
Bye!
