I attached the strings file that Starcraft uses for unit names and hotkeys, not sure if I'm allowed to do that, but whatever.
Attachments:
It should be the one used in the latest Starcraft. Simply use WinMPQ to open your Install directory's Patch_rt.mpq, and add that in under "rez/" so that it will be "Rez/stat_txt.tbl". Be sure to delete the existing one if there already is one (There are technically always about five, but you need to delete the existing Western version. You can tell by looking at the version with a locale ID of 0, illustrated in the attached photo [Figure1]) If you run into any problems, just say so. Good luck. Ok sorry for posting in a thread this old, but I'm just reading this for the first time and wanted to address this issue so it wasn't left hanging like this.
Yes, my apologies for your screwed up hotkeys. You must have been one of the few ppl that downloaded the mod in it's first few days. Everything was fixed very shortly after this was discovered. As you know, ORAI auto-patches your Starcraft to 1.15.0 in hopes to be a more user-friendly mod (you can't play it in any other version anyways)... not having to answer to all the newbie "this program sucks" I can't get it to work because they didn't/couldn't downgrade got very very old! Anyways.. the patch_rt.mpq contained MY PERSONAL stat_txt.tbl hotkeys that I've used for years. It was a slip.. sorry all was fixed way back in November as well. Peace. p.s. better hotkeys anyways.. who the F* has their right hand on the keyboard anyways? Good Job w/ WarcraftIII customizable hotkeys btw Blizzard.. You'll be doing the same in SC2 I assume! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is the signature I bought with my cash.
