I'm trying to experiment with some EUD condition ideas, and I keep reading about a Memory condition in SCMDraft2. I can't seem to find it in my version (Scmdraft 2.0 (Beta 0.8.0)), and I can't find a version which supports it. The alternative, as I understand it, is using Uberation, or hex editing the map. I'd like to mass produce the things using Protrg, so these options are kind of out.

Also, I've read that it replaces the deaths condition for Terran Marine. To access the death count on terran marine for, say, player 1, you'd just input 1 for player number in the memory condition, so you don't actually lose functionality, correct?

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Try the 2 versions in the news posts.
If it won't work, I'll upload what I've installed. At least, it works for me...

And it doesn't replace the death condition. The trigger editor just tends to transfer it into a memory condition, if you type in the parameters in some special order.

The latest version of ScmDraft can be found in the pinned ScmDraft topic in this forum.

Well the way the memory condition works is a bit sketchy. You can't choose it from the list. oops, apparently you can. But then it's really stupid that the death condition is converted.
The regular death condition "is converted" to the memory condition if you input certain criteria that makes ScmDraft think you want to create a EUD. Not sure what this is exactly, but P1 Marine sounds about right.

If you actually want deaths of P1's Marines you have to fill the fields in reversed order (from right to left) then it doesn't convert to the memory condition.

Just create a memory condition in classic editor and then you can view it in text trigedit to get more info about the syntax. Probably needed for mass EUD trigger creation.

Sure you can:

As the others have said, if you want to work with EUD triggers in SCMDraft2, you'll need a thoroughly up to date version. You won't lose any functionality, but you'll have to get used to entering your regular "deaths" conditions in reverse order so that they don't change over (admittedly, it can get a bit annoying). If you want a different option, you can also work with EUDs in StarForge if you customize it a bit by editing the Conditions.lst file in the Data folder so that it will take a number instead of a unit in the Deaths condition (change "unit unit" to "number unit"). But SCMD2 is really the preferred option these days.

None.
