Well I recently heard that all televisions that ARE NOT High Definition will be blacked out ( Itll just be a black screen ) in 2009. Any clarity to this because none of my T.V.s are HD =[.

Analog signals will not be used for television anymore starting '09. It just means if you're using an antenna you'll need to get a digital converter.

I have regular tv and the writer's strike really pisses me off. They get paid enough already, more than 80,000$ a year atleast. Why cant they stfu and stop being so grimy. I especially hate Seth McFarlene for being a pussy too and joining them.

May I point out that this is obsured and that by 2009 you really should have a HD tv...

Yeh, the writters are the people that make the show more than anyone else. They are through letting egotistical actors and greedy producers soak up all their hard work. 80k is nothing compared to what the other people make that have less to do with the show creation.

That is the first good thing Seth McFarlene has done, he is going to have to do more though to make up for creating the abomination we all know as Family Guy.

Family Guy is aimed at people of low intelegence, the jokes are irrevelant to the plot and are completly random. You should really watch a two part of episode of South Park called "Cartoon Wars" it completly makes fun of Family Guy and points out why it's so bad. I mean the comic delevery of Family Guy is just awful, family guy will never win an emmy for writing or outstanding animated series.

I must have missed the part where you say you're a huge fan of Family Guy.

That is an out and out lie. Family Guy appeals to a huge variety of intelligence levels. There are lots of really smart people that I know that enjoy the show. (like, tons of my friends in my high level classes/that have a really high class rank)


That is not AT ALL what that episode is about. You should actually watch the episode. Apparently the morals of South Park go right over your head, and you just listen to the poop jokes.


The latter should not be the goal of a show like Family Guy, it's to be funny, which it is. I'm also really certain you haven't watched more than an episode or two of the show. I'd like to know how old you are for the purposes, if you're too young lots of the eneundo probably goes right over your head, and if you're older you might just consider it below you.

What I think about Family Guy: On one hand, it's pretty funny. On the other hand, it's kinda stupid. Personally, it's a little to stupid for my tastes. A perfectly funny show would be funny with only moderate amounts of stupidity. Like Gilligan's Island or the Simpsons.
Also, a show that relies to heavily on crude humor is automatically lame in my view. Sometimes Family Guy does that.

Well you don't just watch T.V. to watch it, you watch it for news, weather, you use it to play console games, etc. Also, you have no link that says he ever said that, please post a source so we know if you aren't just making it up.
