:payne:

- Jump ability (Apply Force) [Data]
- Timers [Triggers] (aalleecc)
- Item/Inventory [Triggers] (under production by Artanis)
- Custom UI (UI Frames) [Triggers]
- Movers [Data] (under production by Cardinal)
- Prettyfying spells (Special effects... visuals/sounds) [Data] (under production by Temp)
- Actors [Data]
- Galaxy Script [Triggers]
- Functions, Action Definition, Condition Definition [Triggers]
- Modding stuff... I really haven't messed at all with this, so I cannot even think of article ideas... Jack? :P
- Day/Night system [Triggers]
- Validators [Data]
- Abilities [Data]
- Effects [Data]
- Game Attributes [Misc.]

Once we have all of this, I believe we can consider our Wiki as extremely complete.
I believe UI Frames, Abilities and Effects are 3 articles that are already started.

aalleecc is supposed to write the Timers one as well as the Custom UI one.
Riney should probably write the Item/Inventory one, but Artanis can do it too.
Temp is all designated to write the "Prettyfying spells" one, as well as the Actors and Validators ones.
shmeeps and/or Ahli will probably be able to contribute for some triggers-related ones.
Jack is the guy I count on for the Mod ones.
mikelat could probably help with the Game Attributes.
I have no idea who could help with the Movers one.

EDIT: Devlin will distribute 20 minerals (or more!) to anyone who produces a great article! (Source)

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

Just so everyone knows, minerals will be rewarded for help with the completion of Wiki articles. Payne has petitioned that members who write complete and thorough* wiki articles from the above list get 20 minerals each, and I have no issue with that. If the articles are exceptional, then you may get more than 20 as well.

*Note: I say thorough because plagiarizing someone else's tutorial or vaguely explaining a topic will not get you the full 20 minerals. Half-assed articles that require a lot of clean-up or someone else's organization will result in a lower amount earned (and most likely minerals given to whomever has to fix it for you. :P

I do not know if Items/Inventory can be completed through triggers, but I learned how to make them in the data editor from http://www.sc2mapster.com/api-docs/getting-started-with-galaxy-edit/complete-hero/ . I am only using this link as a reference that Items/Inventory can be made through data editor (Pretty Simply) and I do not request any credit. However, if it is allowed to be make in triggers, you may disregard this post.

Oh well, I've never messed with Items/Inventories... I guess you're write about them being done through Data Editor! >.<

EDIT: Btw, I've finally edited the "Example article". It now makes sense and shows most of the important informations a new wiki-writer should know.

Here's what I have done most recently: Weapons & Time Management

This is heavily in progress... Should be a complete list of every field found in the data editor that is relevant for creating units, spells, abilities, buttons, effects, behaviours and actors. Feel free to contribute or to edit this, since I think it is not a one man job: Compendium of Fields

I edited this and added a little more information: Data Editor Tricks

This was the first article I wrote and is still sort of 'in progress'. Not sure whether to link the next section to the 'Weapons' page, or whether to give it in more detail: Creating a Unit (from scratch)

What are mineralzors for by the way? ';)

edit: I am quite busy with university at the moment - so i might not be able to edit and update the wiki as often as I would like ... I am also working on a few map projets which take priority over the wiki :) sorry folks!

I guess I'll start writing various wikis on effects. I intend to write a complete description of most if not all of them, so bear with me - this'll take a while.

Ultraviolet -- You might even be able to turn another unused unit into a map revealer imitation with a smaller vision range so that you could have both normal map revealers and smaller map revealers. Not sure about this one though.

Ultraviolet -- youarenotworthy
youarenotworthy shouted: Does anybody know of a way to reveal just a sliver of the map? Smaller than what a map revealer would reveal? Or is there a way to block the map revealer off at a certain point? I can't use units to achieve what I'm trying to do.
Using EUDs, you can reduce the vision range of map revealers. But of course this will apply to all map revealers. They have a default vision range of 10. For some of my maps, I've been increasing their vision range to 11 and giving them detection and it works nicely. Reducing vision range should work the same.

are you in Minneapolis?

NudeRaider -- or do you need actual vision (not just revealing the terrain)

if at the beginning of the game (as opposed to at some later time in game) is enough, just edit the fog of war layer.

and apparently you should follow that advice: https://streamable.com/u2jzoo -- crazy things going on over there. You're not even safe from police harassment on your own property.

Oh_Man -- Units and map revealers are only way. Unless there's some EUD solution I'm not aware of.

IlyaSnopchenko -- Oh_Man
Oh_Man shouted: You can also use burrowed Zerg units.
The OP says he cannot use units. But if it's not units, what else? (there's a command to reveal the area in AISE, but it's only for 1.16)
