- Jump ability (Apply Force) [Data] - Item/Inventory [Triggers] (under production by Artanis) - Custom UI (UI Frames) [Triggers] - Movers [Data] (under production by Cardinal) - Actors [Data] - Galaxy Script [Triggers] - Functions, Action Definition, Condition Definition [Triggers] - Modding stuff... I really haven't messed at all with this, so I cannot even think of article ideas... Jack? - Day/Night system [Triggers] - Validators [Data] - Abilities [Data] - Effects [Data] - Game Attributes [Misc.] Once we have all of this, I believe we can consider our Wiki as extremely complete. I believe UI Frames, Abilities and Effects are 3 articles that are already started. aalleecc is supposed to write the Timers one as well as the Custom UI one. Riney should probably write the Item/Inventory one, but Artanis can do it too. Temp is all designated to write the "Prettyfying spells" one, as well as the Actors and Validators ones. shmeeps and/or Ahli will probably be able to contribute for some triggers-related ones. Jack is the guy I count on for the Mod ones. mikelat could probably help with the Game Attributes. I have no idea who could help with the Movers one. EDIT: Devlin will distribute 20 minerals (or more!) to anyone who produces a great article! I do not know if Items/Inventory can be completed through triggers, but I learned how to make them in the data editor from http://www.sc2mapster.com/api-docs/getting-started-with-galaxy-edit/complete-hero/ . I am only using this link as a reference that Items/Inventory can be made through data editor (Pretty Simply) and I do not request any credit. However, if it is allowed to be make in triggers, you may disregard this post.

Oh well, I've never messed with Items/Inventories... I guess you're write about them being done through Data Editor! >.<
EDIT: Btw, I've finally edited the "Example article". It now makes sense and shows most of the important informations a new wiki-writer should know. This post was edited 1 time, last edit by payne: Sep 29 2010, 8:25 pm. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Here's what I have done most recently: Weapons & Time Management
This is heavily in progress... Should be a complete list of every field found in the data editor that is relevant for creating units, spells, abilities, buttons, effects, behaviours and actors. Feel free to contribute or to edit this, since I think it is not a one man job: Compendium of Fields I edited this and added a little more information: Data Editor Tricks This was the first article I wrote and is still sort of 'in progress'. Not sure whether to link the next section to the 'Weapons' page, or whether to give it in more detail: Creating a Unit (from scratch) What are mineralzors for by the way? ';) edit: I am quite busy with university at the moment - so i might not be able to edit and update the wiki as often as I would like ... I am also working on a few map projets which take priority over the wiki sorry folks! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Gone.
