To enable offline play, connect to Battle.net to authorize your game client. You also need at least one StarCraft 2 character on the account.
This is the message I get when I try to play offline when I don't have a connection available. I sometime want to play sc2 at school and it really pisses me off... I looked online if there was an option to "authorize the game client" but I found nothing, been looking for an answer for days on internet but I found none.
Plz halp
I want to play sc2!!11!!eleven!!!11!one!

Really? You gotta love Blizzard. Assuming you bought it: Did you contact Blizzard about it? What did they say?
Assuming you didn't: Crack it.
I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.
Are you on a school computer or on a laptop?
Maybe you have to successfully connect to the battle.net once to validate your installation before you can play offline...
edit:
Maybe you have to cut the whole internet connection.

...is this a cracked version of the game? As far as I know, you have to log into Battle.net to create a profile and validate your game. After that, you should be able to play offline.
Currently Working On: My Overwatch addiction.
I believe SC2 needs to be validated every month or some other time period. It's possible it was validated the first time, but has now gone past that time period and needs to re-validate itself.

I bought the game 7 days ago (saturday) and it is not cracked, I played 15 1v1 games so far at home, I take my laptop to school.

So did you go to your www.battle.net account and validate the game?
Did you contact Blizzard?
Well the only thing that remains is contact blizzard... I did validate the account on battle.net, otherwhise how could I be playing online?

I don't know. I don't have SC2.
Well the only thing that remains is contact blizzard...
do it
I remember seeing an article on Rock Paper Shotgun saying that it's actually a mistake/bug that you have to re validate your game every time you shut off your computer. At least if I understood correctly and a fix was underway or something. Though the article had to have been 3 to 7 days old today.

Ok well thanks, I just won't be playing when at the college, which is not a bad thing after all! I might contact blizzard if I really want to but right now I am too busy to even play SC2 so i'l be fine
Edit: This is it, I E-mailed blizzard and am waiting for an answer, I hope that it will not be too long.

I usually alt-tab during that loading screen of raynor's face, and after a couple of minutes I alt-tab back in to see the "play offline" option. Hopefully this works for you too!
You can also play as a guest. Note that you can't gain any achievement while playing offline.

Actually for no reason it began to work last week
I tried to play offline at school and it worked... I guess something was wrong or I may have had a problem with SC2 somehow... Anyway it is fixed now, so I thank you all for your support.
