So, I made the Spider Mine trigger instant-cast, removed the burrow behavior, gave it a behavior that makes it explode after 4-5 seconds, dealing 40 damage (and lower to units farther away) in an area of 4 around the mine. That's all and good, but the only issue I have with it is the miniscule explosion size. The mine itself is 2x scale, so it's not as small as the regular, but it's still only about 1/8-1/4 the size of the actual blast radius.
How can I increase the explosion size?

It's handled in the actors under 'Combat - Death Effects +'
