Lost Contact

Lost Contact is a map made to scare the shit outta you...oh there will be blood.

-4 Players
-Installation Tileset
-Scare-the-hell-outta-you atmosphere
-(probably)Evil Music
-Ammo System (of course...its a horror map :P )
-Reload Sound

========Weapon/Ammo System Details===========
============================================
The Weapon system will be fairly simple...simple enough to hold the average bneter's attention span long enough to get to the fighting. So far my idea is that you may choose your weapon at the start...but no picking up/switching weapons after. Ammo will be available throughout the map but will only be barely enough to keep you going.

Weapons (you choose one at the start):
-KT-37 Assault Rifle (Marine)
-Incendiary Rifle (Ghost)
-Shotgun (Kerrigan)

Note: I have proof that Kerrigan has a shorter range then a standard Ghost

There is a brief in the game that MAY hold up the average b.netter's attention span so I thought I might share it...but without any dialog:

Earth Lost Contact with a space station housing a number of precious artifacts. You are the Scout team sent to investigate the incident, round up the artifacts, and evac via a dropship standing by.

cool two testers after liek 2 hours.

Gameplay Update: I am planning on adding some arcade style boss battles, where you have to micro or something to kill them.

Its really coming along now, I just finished terraining most of level two, only missing the boss arena which I will get an idea for, and only then will I be able to do that.

Level section added below story. Ideas for more areas are welcome, as I will run out of them eventually.

Is this tileset in installation? is i can really help out with the terrain, installation terrain is my best terrain ever. Also for an area, you should make a room with like a firebat sitting there, and creepy music going on and once you walk up to him he dies and just tons of zerg come out and then theres a loud bang sound. (bang should be once firebat dies) ;)

Well I just conidered making transmissions using my own and/or dad's voice for the map, I have the proper equipment to make it, and I doubt I will have many transmissions. Whats your opinion?

Using your own or your dads voice, that sounds like something different. I hope you/or him doesn't have bad acting. xD

It wont be for maybe 2 weeks. I have gone through the first few level's terrain and just started their location placement/triggers, plus I am working on another map and a mod. It will probably be USEast (supposing my damn SC decides to work. Farty better fix SCD3)

When we do however I will finnaly be able to get a good screeny in (I cannot post the map overview cuz it will spoil the map)
