Go to the data editor.
In the top menu, Select Map > Player properties.
For every user, select terran as the user's race; this will lock the race in. Also set the user's intended starting location. You can also "lock" color here?
Next, go the team placement (basic) tab. Select a starting location and link it up with its proper allies.
Next, go to the team placement (advancement) tab. If you already haven't done so, create a team and select all the starting location that is intended to be in the team
Click OK when your done.

In the top menu, select Map > Game attribute. Delete all values and click OK.

In the top menu, select Map > Game variant. Delete all values, click OK, and re-enter into the game variant window.
On the bottom-left of the game variant window, click on the Generate Default button.
Delete everything but the variant with "[default]" suffix.
Select the variant with the "[default]" suffix.
In the general tab, Give it whatever name and description you desire.
Next, go to the game type tab.
Select other as your category. Give it whatever name and description you desire.

Set Max Team Size to 2.
Now, Go to the attributes tab.

Set the values as you desire
Note: Avoid colors conflictions i.e. player 1 and 2 has red::locked.
Recommendation: avoid the value none.

Player 2: open::not_locked

Player 5: open::not_locked
Player 6: computer::locked

Now select the attribute Teams [2 Teams]

Hit OK and save your map.
