Hey everyone. I've been scouring google, newegg, tigerdirect, amazon, etc. and have had no luck finding one.

I want an HDTV ATSC Tuner that accepts RF so I can hook up my cable, and has an HDMI output. Anyone know of one and where to find it?

Thanks, sharf

None.

Hmm.. I found this first, but I think you're asking for a PCI Card or something(not certain), and after about five minutes of searching, I don't think there's one out yet, but I think it's perfectly possible to do what you want, with the addition of some in-between component to change output.

None.

AFAIK you're not going to find an add-in card HDTV tuner w/HDMI. There needs to be some component between the TV and the card as Falk suggested.

I'd say he's probably not looking for something to put into the computer, but an external box that can be used independently to hook up to any display with HDMI.

Probably going to be in the range of $100 to $200 for something like that, IIRC. Relevant searches would be things like hdtv tuner hdmi, atsc tuner hdmi, or maybe qam tuner hdmi (if you are looking for something for cable TV). If you want to use it with cable TV and not just ATSC signals from over-the-air, look for a box that mentions something about QAM or Clear QAM in the features. Note that it will only work for the channels that are unencrypted, though. If it is for cable TV and you want full support for all channels, you will probably need to look to your cable provider.

sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city
