Yes. Not on purpose. I was copying the Spybot - Search and Destroy installation file and that happened. GO VISTA!!!
None.
That's just because your harddrive sucks. Not because of Vista.
None.
Can we ever blame Vista? Oh my, impervious Vista, who gives us wine and bread from the sky, manna from the heavens and water from the rocks!
We shall sign a covenant in thy name and we shall consecrate our sons to you, o'Vista, righteous and mighty!
Up your and Bill Gate's ass.
I don't know how Windows actually decides how long something is going to take, but 80% of the time it's dead wrong. By the time it pinpoints how long an installation/download will take it's usually over anyways.
I have serious doubts it would take that long on a computer that could even run that CPU-sucking POS.
None.
Yeah, Window's time remaining is always wrong, I have a Mac and it pinpoints it very quickly, I mean, I'll have a DVD being encoded, and it'll get a pretty close time 1-2 minutes after I start, for something that takes 5 hours or more.
None.
That's because either your harddrive write speed sucks horribly or you haven't waited for it to go down. It always starts longer than it'll take for me and then makes its way closer to the actual time.
None.
You shouldn't be mean to vista
Maybe its just computer, and not operating system? and even if you do think its vista, why not just get XP if its so bad?
None.
Remember; it said
ABOUT 44859 Days and 18 hours. You may not have to wait that long!
But seriously, your harddrive must suck really bad. Whats the write speed on it?
(Or is it possibly beacuse Vista's operating costs are considerably higher than that of XP?)
None.
