Project Progress is Clan GuN's latest edition to the arsenal. Our objective is to unite mapmakers into a program to channel our efforts. I'll explain further once I get more details.

This topic really doesn't belong here, I know that there is really no forum for this kind of thing, but this is for help, not a showcase.

Maybe the in production forum? Maybe in that a subforum for team like v4?

Okay here's some more data. Project Progress is for mapmakers with moderate and above abilities in creativity and skill. The organization will require a lot of time to process completion elements and sort out assets. This mapmaking league will hopefully help to re-ignite the old SkyTour event. Stats will be provided shortly.

This thread is in the correct forum. We will find use in people stuck with problems and they can bring their abilities into the Project.

There are no tests or special requirements to join, recruitment is free and open. I'll talk to my superior tonight and try to release the full information base as soon as humanly possible.

I do know that Project Progress is counted as a freelance, independent organization, not a clan, so if your clan doesn't want you dual-clanning you can still remain active with it.

Will post more in the next hour or so.

Lol, I just realized this topic wasn't made by Oo.SOLAR.oO. This totally changes my viewpoint on this project. At first I was thinking "What is this Clan Oo crap Solar is doing?" But now I think it's a cool idea :D

The UMS Assistance forum has always patently not been for soliciting one's services in solving problems. You wait for someone to post their problem, and then help. Other topics were for Null, Team Projects (not on v5), or General Discussion/Starcraft (also not on v5).

So what kind of maps do you want to create? I'm making a huge capture-the-flag map, & I have a design-document -- so I have reasons for every object on the map, & that the abstract design is done, but it will take a long time to complete it myself.
So do you have certain projects to work on, or can you just start working on others abstract designs?

What we're planning on doing is organizing a group of people and creating a mapmaking league to replace the obsolete, nano, and pointless games on battle.net. For those of you who don't know what that means, its the old and out of date, and mini-games. Depending on the number of people that join we will expand the league further. This is not for competition but to raise the popularity of our gaming league as a mapmaking constructor on BNET. We will work together to create such maps, usually large, timetable maps.

If you want to join, message me.

timetable? historic battles?
yea, the minigames gets boring after a short time because you learn the optimal solutions for victory, & all that matters after this is discovered is luck & speed of kicking...

I PM you...

O crap, I thought this was the solarball creator/sniper solar. If it was I wouldn't think this delusional.

It's not a bad idea, I'd just want someone smarter and more experienced at the head of it. I have a hard to taking orders from people i know I'm better than.
