Yes, that is correct, I have found a new blend for Jungle, something that people have been saying was a thing of the past. And it's for the most unlikely of things: Temple!
I must say, it is a quite sexy blend, although I was unsuccessful in finding a blend for the back of temple, I plan on finding one soon.
Now that the good blends are over with, I'm going to show you a bit of a test I tried out, just remember: I tried.
That one turned out nicely, but I decided to try something else, and here's what I got:
So I think that top one is about as good as I can get, other than a few variations on what shades of the steps you use.
And I think that maybe I don't need a blend for the back, because it looks fine without it:

OMG, amazing, nice blend man! The ramp needs a bit of help, I think I'll duplicate the blend and see if I can get a less blockish ramp.

I SAY THAT IS AWESOME, i love the temple grounds, but the ramp needs HELP...
if u find blends for Badlands please tell me, for i am making a badlands map and i need some new blends for
the buildings

Well, I attempted multiple things, and I see only 1 way that you can change it that looks possibly better, and it's changing what tiles you use on the steps, but there's no perfect way that I saw.

Best I could do, I kinda like it though, what it needs now is a transition from small wall to big wall, and I'm gonna get right on that.

The idea of this is not to look good but to provide an idea on how to go about making a pit or lowered area in which to put a normal looking ramp, or something else, the ruins edges would be nice if combined with cliffs and ramps down to a low grassy area.

A good blend for a bottom corner would be the one ramp blend Wooden made in some of his open source terrain maps. For instance, the place I found it was on Fortifications for Ommi on the left side. Sorry I can't get a screenshot or post the map cause I'm on my laptop without SC
Well, sorry for all the images but I've kinda been inspired here lol, anyways with a couple sprites used here's an end ramp I came up with, not much room to play around with this stuff but it looks ok

That looks fine, of course, so does almost anything with sprites

Heh, so true, well I'm gonna pull out of my attempts at a terraining frenzy involving small temple walls due to exam studying, nice find there falkoner

I worked with your blend a little and I'm not really sure if this added piece made it smoother or not, but here it is.

Yes, that does make it look better, but I already was doing that, I just missed it in a few spots.
None.
oh, sorry lol. I didn't notice it.

Ok sorry to reincarnate this dead topic, but i need this for my map, and i have NO idea as to where you got the tiles for it... Howd you make it? What tiles you throw together?
U know, those 2 little temple squares from 2 posts ago by sticky note - Those look extremely Diablo-ish to me for some reason.

In my topic of this at Maplantis, I told someone how to do it, it's just the sides of temple stairs, where it's mostly grass.

Thats awesome could be good for lots of maps you should use it for one of ur maps if u make one
