Psh, no, you just can't rush very quickly. =P Certainly not fast enough to justify paying a Hell Forge for it, though, unless rushee is very desperate and/or a friend. I wouldn't accept an NM rush either, actually, unless you're wearing Apprentice rings and/or amulet. <105fcr non-M/LLD Sorcs is unacceptable!
Anyways, some people like to amass perfect gems and trade them off for gear, in which case a Normal forge'd be nearly as valuable to him as any other, and in Normal, you could probably get by with an Inferno Sorc. =P
I know an IRC server that does free grushes and free uberleveling. It's very fast and easy. You can easily level to 90 in less than a day.

As long as d2 is played, there will be rushing, uberleveling, dclone hunting, etc.

Level to 90 in one day.... That's a lot of chaos and baal runs. That like impossible dude. 90 in one day. If you do that, you have no life. Seriously...

Impossible... I used to play D2 sooo hard during the summer on Battle.net and I would stay up for a day sometimes full time and play and I couldn't even get close to something like that and I was really good at that game... There is no way that he/she could have made that much progress in 1 day...

Considering it takes 3 days to uberlevel to 70 in WoW, yeah, its impossible.

Clearly none of you have ever uberleveled. Grush to hell probably takes about an hour. Uberlevel to 85 probably takes about an hour. Then another a couple hours, like 2-3, to go from 85-90. I'm probably overestimating the times too.

Watch it for yourselves.

I used to have a pretty sick skelliemancer.

But Diablo became a little too much of a grindfest and i couldn't handle the level of pricks populating the internet. Plus, said skeleton summoner became alternatively useless, meh, and good again with patches, but was never really a strong PvP build.

I don't have the patience to do the grinding necessary to have multiple characters, so once I got bored with my one strong character i basically stopped playing.

I hate Diablo 2 ever since they patched up my character. (Because a sword with multiple shot just plain rocked, among other things.)

I finally started playing again after I realized that I could register my key online and download d2 from Blizzard without having to buy the game. I'm using the account Friendliest and I play ladder, but I just started.

Anyone else still play?

I've had impulses to start playing again...but then I remember how boring it can get.

Eh, the urge caught me in its twisted net. I'm playing USEast: Ladder & Softcore.

At the moment all I have is an awesome L.91 LFury Amazon that is relatively decked-out.

My account is: Ambrogio.

I started writing my cdkeys on the discs because of this. I would get rid of the jewel cases to store my cd's in a more compact form and end up losing the little slips of paper with the keys on them.
