I translate campaigns for my viewers from English on Russian lenguage. When I'm translate in 1.16.1 then I not have any problem, but this translation did not work on SCR.
Well, I want ask anybody: how I can change it (screenshot)?
Just I want to players can playing through SCR with Russian translation.
You know what I must do?
I believe 1.16.1 used 8-bit character
code pages based on your
system locale whereas SC:R supports
UTF-8.
I think SI's
latest nightly build of SCMDraft supports UTF-8 and would allow you to make a translated map with the correct characters.

I'm not sure it will work yet - The entire app is ported to unicode in order to support UTF8 text encoding, but I think it still uses the system codepage as ansi by default.
All of the unicode changes were done in preperation for UTF8 support though so sometime in the medium term it will work.

I can provide a custom build that encodes everything in UTF8 if you are willing to test that. No promises everything works.

Try this version. It forces UTF-8 conversion in all string conversions that touch map and game data.
