Hey I am currently New sorta to making maps I got all my triggers finallky working lol Long process till
I found this place made it easier.
Anyhow I need to make spells and what I do
My map is only 4 players And there is a hero Select with a Ghost rine medic, Firebat
I need some spells made for like the medic but to prevent everyone useing the medic and balanceing i need some spells to work with the other 3 units. I've never made any spells if you can tell me how Please
medic Spell Plasma Shot Useing the spirit from a dragoon atk.
Ghost be like a spreader with Mines maybe 3 or 4 toss out .
Rine 3 Golta missles
Fire bat - fire ball useing the yamato gun>?

What your asking for is something that seems can only be done through modding... I have never herd of this being done in a normal use map settings map nor do I think that something like this is even possible either. 1) The whole medic idea with the plasma gun isn't as easy as it seems because you would need to have a fireing system which can be done a multiple number of ways but is made super hard when you have 4 players in a map. 2) You just can't summon a Yamoto gun to fire at wherever you please. 3) Ghosts shoots mines? Like spider mines or something because I don't know what your trying to get at with this one.

Spells get to become pretty complicated with locations and how you select where they go, espessically if you have more than one player, but I don't think that what your asking for is going to be coming in any type of of map other than in modding StarCraft itself...

Hrm.. Maybe I am asking for something immpossible I don't know how to make spells
I just need spells that will look good For my map I need 4 spells 1 for each unit

Also I need to know the command to swap out for medic to another unit then be able to swap backj to medic useing a beacon and a guy

.... he doesnt want to mod the medic's actual SC abilitiies... he just wants some ideas for some spells... Like basically a civ goes on a beacon and whamo- kinda thing... Right reppi?


Look, if i missed your goal completely... Try to elaborate more, and add some clarity as to what you intend on doing. (We can't help you if we have no idea what the heck you're talking about! lol)

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

He is new to mapping and he want to add and edit spells. But this is not possible without modding.

He wants to create a map where the heros have some spells.
The right forum would be the already posted one.
ask us there how you could realize some spells.

most spells are realized by creating some units for a period of time.

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
