So I somehow managed to get time to play the brand new Saints Row game inbetween all this dragonslaying and whatnot. As you might know the SR series is somewhat like GTA, as in a sandbox-ish city environment where you do as you please. And the cops usually don't like it. Saints Row: The Third might not have the best story (B-movie sequal gogo) or the best graphics (it's actually quite poor for a 2011 game), but I get the feeling that this isn't the point either. I guess this video speaks for itself:
SR3 is pretty awesome. I was introduced to SR2 very late into its life and immediately enjoyed it a lot more than I did GTA. While SR3's graphics may not be comparable to real PC-native titles (much like Skyrim), it performs leagues better than that GTA4 port and is many times more entertaining.
Unfortunately, co-op is limited to only 2 players.
SR3 is not free of its bugs, though. The most broken I can immediately recall is AI-controlled tanks being seriously hosed.
Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.
