How to Cloak Any Unit Without Arbiter(No Trigger)

1. Load Map (Use StarForge Editor)

2. Put Unit and drag unit.

3. Press Enter (then open properties) and rewrite Unit ID. (e.g. Marine Unit ID : 0, then You Change Number -> 4136)
(this unit will see scourge, but it is only starforge.
if you use starforge 2.2, you will see broodling, but it's only starforge.)

4. Save And test map (You'll see sight without any unit. if you drag any unit and approached it this site, then it will cloaked.)

this unit ,is Korean Map Makers called "code unit".
if you use this "code unit", then you'll make your map very interesting.

my english grammar isn't good.
But i hope that you understand what i say.
good bye.

---------

Attachments is Test Map.
you will cloak units without arbiter.

if you check unit type "4136"
you must open this map starforge editor.

There isn't one.
And this thing is weird as hell.
For one, it made every marine I spawned on the map have 1/0hp, and yes it did the cloaking.
I haven't tried with other units, tbh i'm scared.
Oh, it overrides unit invulnerability, so your invincible marine can now be shot [but not killed.]

Woops. No it doesn't.
That's just what StarForge does [I don't use it]

I feel sorry for the poor sap who spent god knows how many hours trying out different numbers.

Here's better instructions.

1. Place a unit in an empty map [I placed it in a map I already had work done on, to take a look at the effects, and it refuses to spawn]
2. Change the unit type [via StarForge] to 4136
3. Place extra units, to observe effects
4. Save, and observe.

This is interesting. 4136 must be the Arbiters Cloak Field.
Should be added next version of each editor.

I'm taking a look at someother numbers.
4132 is the entity that spawns when a unit dies [really small sight radius]
Only it doesnt die.

Fuck. It's 4am, and I haven't slept...

Weird, I attempted to remake it and it doesn't do it, does the unit have to be placed before the units being cloaked or something? Maybe that's why I poo-pooed it before..

This is odd:

0.o''

Strike you as odd? It counts as a unit, and that was in SCMDraft2.

Yeah, it is a unit, SCM Draft just isn't as set up for odd numbers like that, as StarForge is.

Course it counts as a unit, it started as a unit, and you changed it's unit type [the number] but that didnt stop it being a unit, it's just a different unit.

That made no sense. x_x

Anyway Falkoner, I have a map here that works, take a look at it.

Oh, don't think your special if you find one of these that crashes. They come at 100 a cent.

Oh, and in my starforge, it didnt turn into a scourge, it turned into a tank.
Most other things turned into scourges.

Candle, I know it works, I just can't seem to recreate it.. Did you create the unit first, before the others?

It seems to be very temperamental.
I don't remember placing it first.
But So far, any map with terrain work done, has failed.
It seems to be a lot of trouble. For little gain.
It also crashes all other editors xD

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
