I have $100 and I want over ear headphones for home music use. They need excellent bass.

Sennheiser HD428's. Bass isn't incredibly heavy, but it's there and quite punchy as one review puts it. And it's great for dubstep. Listening to song of storms dubstep makes your brain go all wobbly and melt. Which is what I assume you want the bass for price should be a bit less than $85, maybe 75 in the US. quality is great, although obviously a $500 dollar pair will be better. You need to wear in these cans to get the best out of them (50-60 hours of play and they'll be just great) as you do for every pair of headphones. They're extremely comfortable, and unless you're wearing glasses with them at the same time, you can wear them for long periods of time without a problem. Only slight thing is that your ears heat up a bit after ~5 hours listening, but that's standard for quality circumaural headphones.

I use Steelseries Siberia and they're pretty fly for a white guy. I can't wear headphones for very long and especially not earbuds because my ears are extremely sensitive and they start to hurt immediately, but I can usually wear these for around 20-30 minutes before they start to bother me at all, if that's any indication of their great comfort. I still prefer speakers though.

I use this. They have great sound quality, but the speakers are gigantic. It's not just ear-cup, it's head-cup.
And currently they are $50 cheaper than when I bought it.

I bought tons of mics and headphones... 30 - 40 dollar headphones at walmart are the cheapest then there are the 100 - 150 dollar sound proof headsets usually sold at a dedicated electronic store or costco.

It almost had me, except where the bass doesn't seem to be up to snuff. Bass should be felt as well as heard, I have $10 ear buds that can do that with low enough frequencies, impressively (although higher frequencies are shit). But on the right track.



May go for for the 500 series. They are all around awesome.

Yea Ikr i feel like I'm getting ripped off when i but these expensive headphones... lately i have been looking at stero's the best brand is probaly Bose then followed by Sony or LG. But these usually costs in the range of 300 - 500 dollars. Epically if you want surround sound.
