:payne:

This is kind of Asteroids on multiplayer on a Last Man Standing mode.
This and Hex'd and both the best arena maps made so far.
Have fun! =)

Yea, this is definitely a great game.
I was beta-testing it with NoRoo a few days ago. We had so much fun even though it was an early and glitchy version.

I encourage you to check it out!

I got a question concerning this map but basicly more than just it. At first i thought it is just editors fault for not being finished, but apparently others have that working just fine. I'm talking about text display. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't look like this:

What am i missing?

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

You are using another localized game. With the latest patch (11) that should be fixed (map needs to be saved with latest patch?).

Again, nowhere in the OP does it say you did not make it.

I'll update OP, sorry for forgetting to say I wasn't author... it wasn't on purpose.

Also, Sixen, as far as I remember, you cannot say you have a copyright on something without paying for the patent. Let's say it's just some respect I am showing toward the authors. ^^

The law says otherwise.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

Symmetry shouted: NudeRaider Is EUD editor capable of writing shit onto the player's harddrive? That seems like it would be dangerous
yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
