I was working on my Zerg Rebellion 5 map and when I went to test it it said that it was corrupted. I then went to SCMDraft2 and tried to open it, but it said that there was an error loading the map. Is there any way to fix this? I mean, seriously, I spent three days working on it and I don't want to lose my work.

:payne:

Open SCMDraft and find the "Back-Up Database". From there, find a good version of your map.

Post the map - I could attempt to retrieve at least some map info for you (like triggers, strings etc).

The entire file's been replaced with zeroes, wonder how that happened. Looks like you're SOL if you didn't save backups.

If you meant you couldn't find the backup database option, there it is. It should have periodically backed up your maps.

I can't find it.

Open a map that isn't corrupt or create a new map and then follow these steps:

STEP 1:

STEP 2:

ᴄʜᴇᴇsᴇ ɪᴛ!

You have lost all your files. I hope next time you make multiple backups of your work.

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
