:payne:

One of the best FPS custom map out there.
Neat intro, custom units, custom spells, terrain is a work of art, good difficulty, etc.
Very very great! =)

Have fun playing! ^^

Relatively ancient and inactive

That is not a first-person shooter. It's not first-person. Also, the best thing about it is the terrain - I don't really see how we're supposed to kill tens of zerglings at a time with nothing but a 120-life ghost.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Type "Third Person On" in the chat. (I would have been used "FPS 1"...).
Intro is to slow, your camera position at start with 3rd person is not well done (you have to move south to get ur ghost into your field of view [minimap indicates where you are looking at]).

I'm sure the creator of the map would appreciate if you linked to it, since you did not make it.

I never said I had made the map...
Moreover, I was sure it was obvious that I hadn't made this ;o
But ya, I should've said it, sorry. ^^

Nah, don't even sweat it. Just tossing that in there, i'm sure the author would appreciate some credits, :P. Plus, when the map is updated, they can grab it there.

NudeRaider -- EUD actions, specifically. The conditions remained. Today we can even have actions again, but they're all virtualized/whitelisted (not sure on the actual technical implementation) so you can only use them for specific intended purposed, not arbitrary code injections.

NudeRaider -- I mean yes, maps - through EUDs - were theoretically able to do that as well, but that was patched quickly.

not the map, the editor

Symmetry -- I vaguely remember Voy doing some ACE back in the day, but I had no idea EUDs could do that kind of shit. I am very much catching up on the technology

yeah an editor that isn't allowed to write files sounds rather pointless, so I'd assume it can. Like most other programs too btw. and yes, obviously that's dangerous, but also kinda necessary. MS introduced that virtualization for exactly that reason.

Ultraviolet -- I don't think so. I think they shut that shit down after 1.16, maybe even earlier
