Also, the Abyss Spikes and Abyss Spores damage my Geomancer's summons before I even summon them.

Good introduction though text seemed a little forced to go with those in-game sounds. Lots of things to keep track of (Item area, dropship for individual item casting quick, spells (protoss buildings) and picking attributes but the complexity was more fun than painful. Some side Quests to get you ready for the first big (and difficult) boss fight. Levels seem capped at 20. I liked the variety on the character options---it was great for re-playability purposes.

Issues:
-That beacon for the room where you talk to Cid is sooo annoying, screws up the unit ai move to go there, disable it or something.
-One time during first boss battle our Thief ended up between the stargates when he used triple attack.
-Blue Mage apparently can't take any spells yet (I thought he could take some level 1-2's...but seems not).
-Wolf Dens with nothing around, and consequently I found the hidden quest area and they wanted us to kill wolves in addition to the random quest hut guy. The hidden one sounded like they wanted wolf dens destroyed though and those never went non-invulnerable.
-One time yellow died his units kept flashing in the inventory area instead of moving to the dead guy's items area.
-Capping our leveling at 20? Why not let us try all the combination's ;-).

Anyway keep up the good work, hope you manage to finish it sometime and maybe cut down the file size a bit :-).

I was a little disappointed how little was actually done but I checked later in single player and you have terrain partially down for rest of map so that's a good sign. Team exp share worked great, the teamwork and unit combination's required are nice. I only managed to beat the first boss with my team once in four tries--so fairly high difficulty for random b.neter's.

Edit #1: Oh yea, when we beat the first boss we seemed to knock him of task somehow and he didn't return fire at us...it was odd.

Sorry fellas. I'm famous for leaving my maps incomplete, however, I had a great time making this map. To be truly finished for me would be impossible, not to mention my computer I was using to create the map "ceases to live". I did however buy a brand spanking new gaming comp (check link in the tech forums) for starcraft 2 and the MINUTE I get my hands on the editor I am opening a new map at it's largest possible size with everything possibly maxed that can be maxed in SC2 maps and I will create the 5th of my mini series I guess you could say. Even now, progress has begun with my first RPG on starcraft 2.

One thing is for sure though, I'm going to need alot of testers for....

Final Fantasy: Birth of Chaos


The story itself revolves around Vincent Valentine and the first few times he morphs into the being that is CHAOS!

It seems that Kenshin did little for his map, but he's just redoing all the quests and boss fights. The level is capped at 20 only for the first boss, after, you can level normally again until the next level cap. This is because after gaining a bunch of levels, training on weaker units won't give you exp. And so this system was born
