StarCraft IN Firefox?!?!

Can it be done? Using loader2b, Starcraft can be windowed. (chaos launcher also?). Is it possible to get Starcraft in a firefox tab. It doesn't have to take up the whole window, it would just have to dissapear when I change tabs or hit "ctrl-tab".

Can this be done with other programs as well? Like run scmdraft, notepad, word, excell, or anyother program with window.

2 reasons for this: hide the program quickly, and for easy macro "ctrl tab" is similar to "alt tab"

http://https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419 this apparently allows you to run programs in FF, have a playaround with it, tell us what you find.

It just opens SC like normal. Opening my w-mode shortcut results in it opening SC normally too.

The first thing that popped into my mind was "Starcraft... on Project64? Awesome!" But... in an internet browser playing SC is also great.

What would be the point? You're just wrapping an application with a browser window. I don't know if that even lets you do anything intrinsically worth the bother.

The fact that you can tab SCMDraft and SC and SEN in a single windows and switch between them in split second is a huge point. At least for me, since I got my poker client + table, SC, Draft, Firefox, Dictionary and some explorer windows open, it's just a huge mess.

I use a multiple desktop switcher to... have multiple desktops. I hide windowed sc/scmdraft2 in 1 desktop, and firefox+work on the other. My firefox has the tab bar hidden, so only ctrl-tab works (and my parents have no idea what macros are).
Even with out it, it's a pain to have sc open then alt-tab on an older computer. It takes 1-3 seconds to bring up my firefox again. Tabbing back in takes 1-2 seconds.

Is there anyone out there who could make a program to put SC in firefox? (kinda like w-mode) It can be a w-mode window embedded in a firefox tab, and I would be happy. [and if they could do the same for scmdraft2 :ermm:]

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
