Batman Strikes Again
by William Braun
The murderous tyranny of Batman continued last night as he evaded police and brought another citizen of Gotham to his doom. Gotham Police report that the body of Greo was discovered early this morning, duct-taped to a building in the financial district with a giant bat spray-painted onto the duct tape. His head had been riddled with bullet holes.
In a press conference this morning, Commissioner Gillian Loeb reiterated his promise to keep the public safe from the caped terror of Gotham. "My department is doing everything in its power to bring this self-proclaimed lord of the streets to justice. No one in Gotham is above the law, and we will see to it that Batman pays for his evil deeds." Police detectives are working overtime to find where Batman goes during the day.
Witnesses last night say that they saw a flying dark shape soar off of the sixty-five story Second Avenue Building late last night, presumably after finishing off Greo. While a select few still hold out faith that Batman may somehow be acting for the public good, with two innocent townspeople dead at his hands the darkness looms ever deeper over Gotham City.
Joker's Reign of Terror Continues
by Jason Williams
While the Joker has maintained an eerie silence over the past night, leading some to question whether his life, too, has been taken, some new evidence was discovered in connection to Racoon's death. Gotham Police have just confirmed that a Joker playing card was retrieved a wallet found in the dead man's jacket. A scan of the card was graciously provided to the Globe in order to beg for the public's assistance in identifying the horrifying character known only as the Joker. It features strange colored blotches in addition to the unsettling message "People will continue dying."

In addition, two more people were found dead last night, having plummeted from a rooftop in the downtown district. Early in the night, drivers on Third Avenue were rudely interrupted by two falling corpses, which led to several thousand dollars in property damage due to swerving and collisions. The drives were treated to the gruesome sight of the decapitated bodies of Almost Alive and EzDay281. By the time police were able to arrive on scene, they discovered that the letters "KS" were painted onto Almost Alive's face in blood. Gotham Police have no comment at this time as to their potential meaning.
