my friend wanted to play sc broodwar with me online. but when he tries, starcraft says it can't find storm.dll even tho it's in the dictionary. so when i give him my storm.dll to replace it works fine, but we can't play online at the same time.

Copy and paste your storm.dll into his starcraft2 folder.

yes soz on that. and copying my storm.dll and pasting into his will make him log into my battle.net connection therefor I can't play online unless he's off miltiplayer

Um as far as I know that isn't true unless you've tested it personally. CDKey information is only stored in the MPQs, not in storm.dll. Therefore, you should be able to let him use your storm.dll just fine.
