Now I have a story. Once on WoW an entire server, Bell people could not get on due to their newest patch. The problem may perhaps be the same, I my self use Rogers (Canadian only.) And perhaps due to Sc's newest patch, rogers has gone.

Third-party programs are only bad if you are using it as an advantage in a contest (Ladder) or to boost your rank (Win ratio).
You are correct, you state that most people only use it on UMS like RPing, but it is still considered cheating, I mean, it's called HACKS for a reason.

Starcraft Mods are considered non-hacks because if you venture to the tale of SC.org, which was offically authorized by Blizzard, had mods.
Besides, we rarely play mods on any of the 4 offical servers. We play at Shadowflares, which is a custom server that allows us to downgrade.

Speaking of downgrading... How do you do that? I tried it and it nearly killed my sc...

lSHaDoW-FoXl, your connection problem is specifically on your end. A client patch or program can't determine one's ISP, unless it specifically makes a connection to obtain it and deliberately rejects those users. That "WoW incident" is probably fake.

Some suggestions:
1. Re-Install Starcraft.
2. Forward ports 6112 to 6119 on your home router.
3. Delete bncache.dat.
4. Check the settings on your firewall, or disable it completely.
5. Check your internet connection settings. Make sure you are not connecting through a proxy.

These three in particular seem intriguing, but when it comes to computers or programming them I'm extremely inept. I tried reinstalling it and numerous other things. So... How do I change these ports 6112 and 6119?

Where's Bn cache.dat?

I found BN.Cache, it's been deleted but... the problem sadly still continues.

Most people that do type literate either have their head very far up their ass, or it just seems like they do. Thus, often times they/we are not the most like able of people.

Despite the current annoyance I find you are currently I agree with you that this topic might as well just be closed. After I changed the topic I tried to switch it back, but it never really worked. (Any references to any of the patches was a retrospective or a glance.) Either way most of them did have a relevance. Ironically, more relevance then some people contributed. Firstly, technically isn't Off-Topic the same idea as the third one involving me? Thus they shouldn't count as separate reasons. And secondly, you cannot capitalize after a comma, unless periods have suddenly become outdated.

Hmm, well the first one I'm stating is just a joke, a joke which sort of reflects my perspective of literate people. (Including my self.) I was once called an illiterate before, and the person that called me illiterate spoke sort of like this, "WTF YOU FUCKING COCK FAGGOT SHIT FUCKER,'' He also said numerous other insults which were randomly strung together.

I'm basically saying if a literate person isn't stuck up, they'll probably seem it. and the reason why is probably because seeing every letter in it's place in perfect order with another is somewhat like seeing someone with obsessive compulsive disorder for some.

As for number two, you're quite right. Having a mind that's set on judging another person skills or talents by their age is quite despicable. The reason why I said that though is because I recalled all the times I had younger people bitch at me over really pathetic reasons. Then again, I wasn't really as bad as they were when I was their age, so I guess they're just spoiled.

Oh, I never assumed it was about me. I don't really look for things to be about me. Quite ironically though, it seems like you decided to post an entire thread about me. Besides, it is quite my fault for a few problems on this post, but at the same time people have insulted me each time I tried to fix the problem I caused. Thus I can't quite say this is all my fault, but I do take a blame for portions of it. and at a glance if you look at it, despite the problem I caused some others enforced the problem to be worse.

I'd say something of the patch at the moment, but nothing can really come to my mind. I think all I can say is that it fixed the very odd reply glitch, and that hopefully this one won't have any major glitches. Patches can sometimes be like a drug, I mean the medicinal kind of course. Drugs can help, but at the same times they can ironically cause more problems which you need more drugs to help those problems which the last drugs caused.

Basically, I just hope this newest patch did not suddenly screw more things up then it fixed, and that they have to keep making more patches to fix these problems.
