'Aight. Well, I wrote a few reviews for some maps in the past, it worked. Yet some reason, I find I can't write any reviews anymore, for any maps! I even tried to go to the Reviews section its self, and wrote down the exact name of the particular file I wish to review, yet it does not work. Does anyone out there know what's wrong? I really wish to review some maps...

Er...What do you mean by that? O_O? That doesn't mean you're getting rid of reviews..right?

Why remove reviewing? Or by kill do you mean remake?

Well, I find it sort of intriguing. The idea to reward people for being loyal to the site n.n. but to a certain extent, it is fairly annoying =(.

The store doesn't even work. The security code image required does not display so you can't buy anything.

Well maybe I'll start over. I wanted reviews integrated directly into the dldb as something worth reading. Maybe there could be a member review system off to the side as something ign has.

Perhaps grant some people access to review certain games or maps?

Like say, ask for people to post or send you a review so you can see if they are good or not at it. If they are bad then they are just ignored. If the reviewer does appeared skill then keep him n.n.

All people start with a designating reviewing power:

As reviews are approved and people are pleased, reviewing power grows, and overall, more weight in access.
This addresses:

New spam accounts
Elitism
People with no lives to just write Reviews
Boredom

If you did review, have no minerals gained from it. With no reward for doing such a task, it deters those who will just do anything to gain something worth nothing... If people want to give reviews they can. Also, if a map is reviewed well... good job... if it's reviewed poorly... try to learn from your mistakes. However if a good map is reviewed bad, it's not because the person is neccesarily an asshole (though that could be the case) a map does't necessarily have to be for everyone else... Also... a rating system similar to NewGrounds system COULD be effective for this... this would also implement a level system (since that's what newgrounds does) which also gives those noobs who want something else to look at on their profile page and compare against each other... something to compare and look at :S!

Also, i forget who it was, but if you're going to quote something somebody says... use the quote tag... elsewise you're just gaining minerals when you don't deserve them.
