The sword and the faith

Put them up to be listened to, I don't care where. Your work so far isn't worth a download by any stretch of the imagination.

ALL PRAISE YOUR SUPREME LORD CORBO

I lol'd at the fact that whoever joins you in some parts in the first song sings better than you.

Can you ask him to sing the songs?

fuck you all

Good, then I guess all you have to do is lower the volume that much so we can't hear you like in that part.

fuck you all

OVERWATCH STATUS GO

I think you're a better guitarist than singer. I think you're very passionate about your music, and rightfully so, but I do have to agree that your singing is lacking.

Sorry.

Hey can you post the lyrics to these songs? I'm not really someone whos words you can take seriously when it comes to this but, try singing ... "Louder" if that makes any sense.

Btw My fucking Head phones snapped when I went to go listen to your songs and they cost 50$ (they still work tho). Lul.

Yea, eventually it will even out (and I don't mean your playing skills are going to get worse) since i don't think singing is something your born with. I hope.

Yeah you definitely need to work on your intonation and once you get that down practice accents to make your voice sound cool and not like a child. Record and listen... over and over.

Your guitarwork is great, accomplish these two things and I will enjoy listening to you.

It seems like you struggle to sing some notes... so you start singing in a whine-type voice that is very unplesant...
There's a lot of parts that sound pretty good... and parts that are really bad...
And it sounds like you're nervous or just unenthusiastic... monotonous even... and at times... not on rhythm... -_-
I think you should work on your singing or maybe take some classes on singing.

But great work so far.
Hoping to see you improve.

I havn't listened to your songs yet, but what I did for singing which helped me a lot was look into how to breathe 'properly' did some practises and then i started covering songs by Panic! At the disco. They wern't that great but it's really high pitched and fast. So it sort of pushed me to find how high i can sing. To learn how to falsetto and it helped me breathe in more practical way. I then also looked into choir which taught me WHEN to breathe which is REALLY important. It taught me to hold notes, it taught me how to perform in front of people and basically if you want to sing, it's a matter of practice. Obviously some people just cannot sing well... but really there's a style of singing for everyone. If you can find one that works for you, then that's great!

Why aren't they?

Jan 10 2009, 12:25 am InsolubleFluff Post #19

Well it really depends on what you plan on doing. It's all great learning to memorize notes, learning to hold your notes and all that musical technicality. But it just teaches you how to 'sing' not like how to express yourself through singing. It's gonna teach you how to sing which will be good for karaoke and impress people, but it won't teach you how to sing for yourself...

Karaoke? More often it's good for classical singing like operatic and theatrical music, and a good vocal teacher will make you better at singing in general.

Really, just look up what techniques your teacher uses against reputable singing sites or other teachers, as there are teachers out there who will teach you damaging techniques.

Oh_Man -- whereas just "press X to get 50 health back" is pretty mindless

Oh_Man -- because it adds anotherr level of player decision-making where u dont wanna walk too far away from the medic or u lose healing value

Oh_Man -- initially I thought it was weird why is he still using the basic pre-EUD medic healing system, but it's actually genius

Vrael shouted: I almost had a heart attack just thinking about calculating all the offsets it would take to do that kind of stuff
With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort

Oh_Man -- definitely EUD
